The Steiger Clan is cashing in on their vacations time. The kids (and I) have worked hard over the past 5 months and we are taking our Christmas, Winter and Spring vacation all at once.

Spring Time in New England

You might think I am making this whole spring stuff up. Just to show you what life in New England is here are pictures from last Thursday night. The snow is almost gone and the girls pulled out some beach toys to play in the dirt. As you can see they are still wearing hats and winter jackets. It almost looks like spring right?

Well this is what our swing set looked on Friday morning!!!

Creating ...

A little sneak peak what I have been up to ... ... busy with thread and needle.

I have two big helpers and it is a joy creating with them.

And they love showing off our creations.

Where in the world is spring?

The calendar is showing that spring is here. All the blogs I follow show people starting to plant their gardens, pulling out short sleeve shirts ....

so when I look out of my window why is there there snow on he ground!!!!

Got to be New England thing.

So I try to bring spring into my household. Maybe it will bring the sping up here sooner!!!!

Dancing all around

Just because there is snow on the ground and the boys are busy with basketball doesn't mean that dancing lessons are put on hold. The girls are doing a great job dancing. Emma is turning into a little ballerina and ... ... Jo is taping away at her lessons.

Basketball season DONE!

The basketball season if finally over for our family. The boys had a great season and they learned a lot about team play! Nate shooting a basket.

The girls made new friends. They are great cheerleaders for the boys and they make friends everywhere we go.

New Haircut

It was that time again. Time for the boys hair cuts. And this time Emma and Jo wanted to 'help'. Sam and Nate would't let them touch their hair but daddy was willing to give it a try.

By the way he still has his head on!

Emma worked very hard.

And Jo was a big helper with the vacum cleaner.

I had to do 'some' touch ups on Fil's new hairdo but other that that they did great.
