Basketball season DONE!

The basketball season if finally over for our family. The boys had a great season and they learned a lot about team play! Nate shooting a basket.

The girls made new friends. They are great cheerleaders for the boys and they make friends everywhere we go.

Soccer and the Girls

Wondering what the girls are up to during the boys soccer games and practice? Well they are up to lots of stuff like smiling ... ... twirling around until you fall down ...
... tasting our dress just to make sure it is not edible ...
... this is Emma's favorite, stealing the boys soccer balls ....
... snuggling with daddy ...
... this is Jo's favorite, eating snacks (the box with puffs opened up so I just sat Jo in front of the bag and she was busy for 45 minutes) ...
... smiling ...
... looking for something to drink .
Do not judge. We all have days like this!!!
As you can see we are all keeping busy this fall. We also had our 6 month post placement visit this Saturday with our social worker and it went very well. Jo showed off her new skills (walking etc.) Our social worker told us that Jo is doing very well for her age and there are no concerns at this point. She attached to us without any problems and we are so thankful for that. She has fit into our family with out any problems.

Baseball Game

Last Saturday we made it to the New Hampshire Fisher Cats Eastern League AA Affiliate of the Toronto Blue Jays game. We go every year and this time we went with friends from our church. As you can see the boys are very excited. I know we live in Red Sox nation but we cannot afford to go to a Red Sox game. So we enjoy our AA league game. It works for the boys and I have to say I do enjoy going to baseball games (I am not sure about football games and I am still recovering from my visits to Bronco games when we lived in Denver).
Anyway it was a rainy day on Saturday. Great for the grass but not so good for a baseball game. We spent first 1st hour trying to stay dry and watching rolling and unrolling a cover on the field. After several hours of rain delays the game was finally played.
It was Jo's first baseball outing and she did great. She loved strolling around in her jogger and she turned a few heads. Yes she is very cute. So is Emma.
Here she is ready for a nap. Can you tell she is comfortable?
We won some gift certificates to a local restaurant. Here is Fil with Emma on Jumbotron receiving the certificates. It started to rain after that again. However we got free tickets out of this game for Monday nights game. That is where the boys are heading tonight. I am staying home and relaxing (editing pictures and trying to catch up with my blog). They will have a great time and I will have to deal with only 2 sleepy kids tomorrow.
