Our Christian life began not with our decision to follow Christ but with God's call to us to do so. He took the initiative in his grace while we were still in rebellion and sin. Saturday's soccer games

Just in case you were wondering where did I disappear these pictures should help you understand where you can find me for the next two months. Yes, the fall soccer season started and with two boys on two different teams our lives are busy.

We are on the field at least four times a week this year. The boys are having a great time and even the girls enjoy running around and cheering for the boys.

Sam's games are getting more and more interesting. He plays the big field this year and his team is very strong.

The girls and I were on the field from 10am till 1:20pm. Long day but we had a great time.

Farm Stand

After school this morning we made it to our favorite farm stand. The kids could care less about the fresh vegetables and fruit. The most important thing were the barn animals. (And as long they stayed behind the fence my kids are good to go)

This is the dog at the farm and as you can see he got his 'paws' on some pepsi.And the reason why we were at the farm stand in first place?

Tomatoes!!! It is time to make tomato sauce for the upcoming year.

Some people are full of talk against legal doctrines, legal preaching and the legal spirit. Yet they may understand very little of what they are talking against. A legal spirit is far more subtle than they imagine. It can lurk, operate, and prevail in their hearts even while they are inveighing against it For as long as a man is not emptied of himself and of his own righteousness and goodness, he will have a legal spirit. A spirit of pride in one's own righteousness, morality, holiness, affection, experience, faith, humiliation or any other holiness, affection, experience, faith, humiliation or any other goodness is a legal spirit. It is even possible to have a self-righteous spirit about one's own humility and to be self-confident about one's own abasement. But he whose heart is subject to Christian humility has a very different attitude. Christians who are real saints and the greatest in the Kingdom humble themselves as a little child. They look upon themselves as children in grace.

Branson - Monday

I am still trying to process the whole Branson trip. I have never been to a reunion before. I came home tired (very tired). Do not get me wrong it was an amazing trip in so many ways. It is sometimes hard to explain to people who have never experienced a reunion with people you have never met. We've known many of these families for such a long time yet we never met face to face. I felt like I was seeing old friends and meeting many new ones. I wish I could put it into words what we experienced this week but somehow I cannot find them.

We got together with the remaining families for lunch on Monday at a park so the kids got their energy out.

It was fun to see the Laughner's family again (cannot wait to see you soon).

After lunch we ended up at a little water park next to the playground. It was the perfect place for us to relax and the kids have fun.

And for dinner we got together with some families at Danna's BBQ.

Since it says 'photo spot' the boys wanted a picture there.

So did Emma (with a bloody nose) however Jo was not interested.

I hope we will get to do this again.

Just in case you haven't noticed we had uncle Vit with us. He was a huge help with the kids and we cannot thank him enough.
