Earlier this week we went blueberry picking (again). Jo and I went last week and brought home over 15 pounds of blueberries. This time with Sam's help (he was the only one willing to help me) we ended up with 18.5 pounds. Wondering what I did with so many blueberries? Made a ton of blueberry jam, froze a ton for baking and making smoothies and baked a lot of bluebery buckles and froze that. My freezer is starting to fill up with summer goodies for the upcoming year.
Anyway I did have a camera on me but I was too busy picking. On the way home we stoped at one of the local farm stores and I got the kids two big cookies. By the time I was done taking pictures of the girls and their big cookie ....
... the boys were done with theirs. Oh well.

Jo was fearless.
She was ready to climb into the pen with the goats.

It is that time of the year again. Time to get ready for another school year.
I love seeing the kids faces when they get to open all the boxes with new books and workbooks.
The boys parked right in the middle of living room and hungerly started browsing all of their books.
I believe Sam read most of his science books already:)
Jo getting into the school spirit.
Emma making sure we have enough pencils for everybody.

How about all of you homeschool families out there? Are you getting ready?
This year we got to listen to the Yankee Brass Band.

Pirates are always popular in our household.
My girl ready for battle.

Jo trying to blow the balloon.
Nate ready to fight.
Girls protecting their batch of balloons.
Emma and her color coordinated balloons

On Saturday we made it to the beach again. We got together with NH adoptive families. It was so much fun to see a playground with children from all over the world.
