B-day Party

This weekend we were invited to a B-day party. It was great to see our friends up in the North country. Of course the kids went wild (They play so loudly when they get together, all homeschoolers). It was a mix of 5 boys and 4 girls. Emma on the way back home. The kids got this very loud horn with their party favors and they loved it (They did love it because they are no more. I took cake of that that night after everybody went to bed.) . Anyhow she got a big kick out of it on the way home. (Yes she did figure out how it worked)

Emma loves anything that has to do with dolls. I can not wait to take her to American Girl in New York City.
Four partners in crime.
The girls played a little quieter then the boys.

Snow in March (St. Patrick Day)

I can not believe we were in our short sleeve shirts a few days ago. Anyhow we got a "few" inches in "few" hours. The kids loved it. But they are ready for spring as well (The boys keep asking when we will go to the beach). Our house

Snow plaw and Nate. They do a great job cleaning our neighborhood.
Emma watched the kids from inside (I do not blame her).

I could not resist the pink frame. What a doll.

70 + F

I wanted to post these pictures before the storm hits tomorrow. As you can see most of the snow melted. It was over 70F today (Wednesday). After running around between Concord and Manchester the kids got to play outside at the end of the day. It was so nice. Sam, Colin, Abby, and Nate on their scooters.
Colin and Abby are our neighbors across the street. It is great to see the kids outside again.
Emma is getting into the cars and on the little motorcycle. She will be very busy in the summer. Even if the temperatures were high the ground is still frozen and there are puddles everywhere. Did I mention that a storm is coming in few days? Well at least we got a little bit of a teaser for spring. The end of winter is coming.

Starbucks

After running around all day we stopped at Starbucks. Believe it or not our children know very well what Starbucks is. And no they do not drink coffee (yet). They love their strawberry frappuccino.Emma got her own little cup.

Walk outside

Finally we got some nice (actually very nice) weather. These pictures were taking around 6.30pm on Tuesday and it was still warm to walk in sweaters only. (And there is more daylight now too.)Fil with Nate. It was around 55 F that night.
And our always smiling girl.
Sam wanted to get everywhere first. The boys do not really care for walks so the deal that night was that there will be ice cream at the end of the road if they were not whining :) (It worked by the way)
HHere is Nate posing for picture. He is last everywhere not like his brother. We call it a Nate's pace. We sometime miss all those trails in Highlands Ranch in Colorado. We do not have that here but a walk in our neighborhood is nice too.

Visit

It was great to see the grandparents again. They stopped by on their way back from Costa Rica and Atlanta. We had a good time with them even if it was just for a week.
Emma is helping me in the kitchen. She is such a girl. She loves to do girlie things like cooking and taking care of babies.
Emma warmed up to grandpa a lot this time. She had him wrapped around her little finger.
The kids love to go wake up grandma and grandpa. (Sometimes way to early.)

Emma inspecting grandpa.

Grandpa and grandma went for a little walk in our neighborhood. They rushed home quickly as a little snow storm went by. They sure looked funny when they got home.
Emma is just the perfect size to squeeze between the legs.

New Life Ministry

Every first Saturday of the months our church does outreach at New Life Ministry(http://www.newlifehome.org/.) a treatment center for women and their children here in Manchester. Miss Allie teaches a Kindermusic class with the little ones and their moms and Lenka teaches a craft class with the older kids. We love doing it every month especially since we can bring our own children and minister to others together. Here are some pictures from the music class. As you can see it is very busy and it can get very loud.

Happy Birthday Fil

We have a big boy in the family. Fil turned ?? today. The boys were very exited (especially about the cake part). If you wandering about the four candles just multiply it by 10. The Steiger boys. Ready for some cake and ice cream.
Hmmmmmmm, good.
I guess Nate liked the cake.
And here is the big boy himself.

Aquarium II.

Well here we are in March and we already made a second trip to the aquarium in Boston. Fil's parents went on into Boston and since the kids do not care for much walking we headed to see the fish again. Emma on Fil's back. She is such a busy girl.
And did I mention how cute she is?

Sam ready for a ride on a turtle.
Emma ready for a ride.
And Nate ready as well.
Emma playing with a star fish.

The J.F. Kennedy aircraft carrier was in Boston for few day as a last stop before decommissioning. We did not go on since Nate and Emma are too small and the line was too long. We got to see it at least from the distance (It looked huge even from the distance).
It was a beautiful day and we got to walk around only in our sweaters.
