Story Land ...

The boys are up North at summer camp so we are enjoying some fun time with the girls. After we dropped the boys off we headed to one of our favorite campgrounds and had fun playing in the river, making a fire and just having good time. The next day we headed to our local amusement park here in New England called Story Land. The girls, Fil and I had a great time. ....
Emma was all beside herself that she did not crash the car. Way to go girl. In no time you will drive a regular car.

Jo with daddy.
Emma driving a tractor. Maybe Mr. Carpenter will let her drive one of his real ones.
This is one of the rides our boys never wanted to go on. We found out this week that amusement parks are more fun with the girls. They went on all the rides and the crazier the better!!!

I didn't go on this one since I do not do well with spinning rides. Both girls and Fil survived and wanted to go again (Fil did not).

This is a new ride at Story Land and it was more fun for me (who did not go on the ride). I got to spray them with water throughout the ride.
Fil and the girls ready for a big battle.
Cookoo clock ride.
Old time favorite tree house.

This picture brings back memories. We have a picture of Nate standing there trying to figure out what kind of a tree is this and here we are with Jo not trusting it as well.

Girls ready for a pumpking ride up to Cinderella's castle.
And ride it was.
My three prisoners.
As you can see we all had a good time. I was ready to leave the park early afternoon but not the girls. We were there the whole day!!!

She is 4 .....

Our baby girl turned 4 earlier in the month and we celebrated it with a very pink princess cake.
She is growing into a young lady with a very strong personality.
She loves everything pink in her life.
She adores her brothers and her best friend is her sister.
It was a very good (strawberry) cake.

Summer Fun

Our family is enjoying the warm summer days in New England with plenty of activities on our calendar.
Last week we attended a summer concert at a nearby park to listen to old Beatles' tunes. The kids had a blast dancing and singing (days to follow).
Emma, our free spirited girl.

She is my 100% girlie girl. Always in skirts or dresses only.
And silly as silly can be.

Jo is never too far behind her big sitter.Even the boys got Beatles fever.

Emma and Jo are growing closer to each other every day. It is a joy to watch them play together. What kind of a summer would it be without spending time in the water!!!

Good bye

It was hard to say good bye to the grandparents. The kids have been blessed to spent tons of time with them this year since we were in Europe in spring. It was hard to see them go back home and we wish they were much closer to us!
