Ski Lesson

Nate ready for his ski lesson to start.
Sam

Well it finally got cold in New England. Due to the warm weather the ski lessons were canceled for three weeks so here we are in the middle of January and we are actually very happy about the cold front.

Anyhow the boys made it to their first ski lesson this week. (On time) And let me tell you it take some talent to get two boys and a girl ready in the winter. :) But we made it in time and the boys had a great time.

Since the parents are not allowed on the hill with the kids I did not get good pictures but I did more video taping instead so Fil could have seen it later in the day. If you are wondering why the kids have balloons on their helmets it is for the ski instructors to know which child is their. (very good idea)

There are three kids for one instructor. The boys are in a different group but they were on a same hill. Both of them are doing a great job. They can get down the hill for sure. (Some turning and stopping will be in order to learn) Emma just enjoyed beautiful day outside. So could barely move being all bundle up. (but she stayed warm for sure)

New England Aquarium

Finally after crazy holidays and the kids being sick we made it again to Boston. (It is only 1 hour away from us) We were all looking forward to this trip for a while. And since it has been warm and the cold front is coming in any day now we thought we have to go sooner than later.

It was great to see all the sea creatures again. I do not think Emma has been in with us but the boys remembered our previous trips. She was speechless at first but after a while she enjoyed all the fish as well.
The boys were mostly interested it the big fish tank than the little displays. They do not trust sharks but they always get kick out of the biggest turtle we have ever seen. (How ever after Nate requested a book about sharks and he and daddy have been reading it.)
Emma and Fil looking at fish. Some of them were bigger than her. I think she liked the smaller one much better.

Nate and his star fish. Nate caught star fish in the summer when the boys were fishing in Prince Edwards Island. Still he was very careful to touch it.

Here is one of the turtles in the Aquarium. It is not the biggest one but that was the only one that came up for a close up. I do not have a good flash light for indoor pictures and I am still learning to work with my camera but some of the shots turn out very nice.

No Snow

Well as you can see we still have no snow. I know all of our friends in Denver do not know what to do with snow and we would love to get some. So far nothing. At least the temperatures went down and had to get our winter jackets out.
The kids enjoyed playing outside. It has been a long time since the boys got to ride bikes and scooters in January.
Nate requested the other day a snow shovel. I told him that he does not need one since there is no snow to shovel. Maybe soon. I am sure Fil will appreciate his help. :)

Emma is keeping up with her brothers. That little bike survive all of our kids so far.
Emma got wooden blocks for Christmas and the boys were very exited about it. You can see Sam likes building towers. (And Emma likes to destroy them.)

The Queen Emma. She is keeping up with the boys. And busy, busy. She is a sweet heart.

Merry Christmas

Here are some more pictures from Christmas. (I am still learning how to do this. ) Between the blog and our PC security I am lost. But moving forward every time. :) This is Sam and Nate. Sam has a Soviet army helmet on and Nate has a Christmas tree hat. This year we got a big surprise when Fil's parent's knocked on our front door. Since we did not expected them it was a shock. And they were dressed up too.
Here is grandma and the boys. As you can see they could not handle the story.
And here are the grandparents and their grandchildren. We were very happy to have them here this year and we are looking for more surprises in the future:)
Emma is ready for close up. Doesn't she look like professional?

Here I am

Well here I am. I am still trying to figure it out how it all works but I am trying. Hopefully everybody had a great Christmas and New Year. I am looking forward to a normal schedule again. Nate got really sick after everybody left and he is finally getting better today. (stomach flu) We are praying that no one else will get it in the family. On the other hand Sam and Emma are having fun playing together and I am catching up on cleaning and some projects. Here are some pictures from Christmas (if I will figure out how to do it :) )

Here are our blessings. Merry Christmas everyone !!

And this is me by the way with the kids. Some how we did not get a family Christmas picture this year. Between church and a run to the airport to pick up Vit we never got it. Hopefully next time.
