She is 6

I am sure the boys had something to do with choosing the birthday cake.

Our baby girl turned 6 a few weeks ago. I cannot believe how fast the time flies. It wasn't that long ago that we celebrated her first birthday and here we are with a six year old in the house.
Jo is very particular about her birthday cake. She constantly discusses it throughout the entire year. She also changes her mind every week so I do not pay that much attention until the very end. This year it ended up being a hamburger cake. She didn't want me to make her a cake she wanted it to be ordered from the store. I am sure her siblings may have have influenced her a little last week.

6 years old.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY BABY DOLL :)
And guess what we had for her birthday dinner? Yep hamburgers.:)

He is 11

My baby boy is 11! I cannot believe it has been 11 years since we welcomed him to this world. He is growing into to a nice young man and he is already reaching for the starts.
Nate requested a visit to our small planetarium on his birthday and after we finished our school work for the week we head up there.
What a special day with my kiddos.
I have been blessed to have them all in my life and I so thankful for their love for each other.
Sam almost ready to fly.
The kids had fun looking at different displays and the girls enjoyed a weather forecast girlie style.
 Happy Birthday big brother.

Sam will have to grow a little.
But he can still dream and with a little photoshop help almost make it real.

Baking with the Girls

Emma hard at work on a kitchen counter.
Somebody had a birthday in our family and the girls made them a birthday cake ALL by themselves (almost). I had the privilege to clean the kitchen afterwards.

Jo working hard at the stove.
They did lots of mixing.

Yes they are sitting on the counter. They can climb anything.

They took turns mixing.
And the best part of making a cake?
Licking the bowl after.

The cake turned out very well. However, I have no picture of it since it disappeared as soon it was ready to be tasted. Nothing lasts in this family when it comes to food.

Nate is 10

Our "baby" Nate turned 10 this Wednesday and he is reaching for the sky.
He asked to go to a planetarium for his birthday this year. We already went in the spring but since he has become a space expert and he is almost ready to join the NASA team. So we took him again.
He was very excited and he even wore the astronaut costume that I made for him a few months earlier.

 Should I be worried?
Moon maybe but Mars?
The other kids (and daddy) enjoyed the museum as well. Here is Sam and Emma giving flying a try.
Nate landing a spacecraft. He crashed by the way :) But he has few more years to go before he can fly the real thing anyway. He does have a fan club already.
The girls almost taking off from the museum. They sure look cute even when flying.
Landing on Mars. It didn't go good well either.
Happy Birthday Nate. I cannot wait what God has in plan for you!!!

She is 4 .....

Our baby girl turned 4 earlier in the month and we celebrated it with a very pink princess cake.
She is growing into a young lady with a very strong personality.
She loves everything pink in her life.
She adores her brothers and her best friend is her sister.
It was a very good (strawberry) cake.

Pineapple baby. Sam was a small guy and as you can see not much longer than a pineapple. He is growing up into a fine young man ready for exploring the world around him.
