More Backyard Fun and Soccer

As if we didn't spent too much time on the soccer fields already. The kids enjoying a family soccer game in the back yard, Steiger style.

Soccer, soccer and more soccer

Wondering where we spend most of our time this spring? Wonder no more the Steigers are on the soccer fields most of the time if it is not pouring rain and we love it. The kids get some of their energy out this way.

This season all four kids are on four different teams but three of them have practice at the same time and on the same field so it works out for Fil and I well.

However they still love to play each other in our back yard.

Soccer Practice

The spring soccer season started for the Steiger household.and are we busy or what. FOUR kiddos playing and practicing!!!

Three practices at one time and on the same field. We could have ask for a better schedule!

We are alive ...

... and well. It has been crazy in our household for the last two months. First of all we started school (just started our 8th week) then tap and ballet dancing (girls) and soccer. Yep, our calendar looks insane some days. But we love it and enjoy most of the days. I have a few pictures to share from our busy schedules.

We have 3 kids on 3 different soccer teams this year. (Jo cannot wait to start in the spring.) That means 3 soccer practices and 3 - 5 games a week. There are times when I think we should just move to the soccer fields.

Emma is our scoring machine this year and her goal average is 4 goals a game at least.

During the kids soccer practice we enjoy playgrounds which are close by and here are my girlies with Sam (their babysitter for the hour while mom and dad watch Nate's practice).

I am sure those cuties keep him busy.

As you can see we are doing well and enjoying the fall in New England.

Last Soccer game

The last soccer game of the season was cold. Out came the winter coats and blankets.

Even grandma survived a very cold game.

We are are looking forward to quiet Saturdays again.

Fall Fun

What would fall be without soccer for our family.

This year Emma is part of a league and she is playing with all her heart. So are the boys.

Nate looks like a tank on the field.

We are still enjoying our bikes when ever weather is nice.

Emma learned to ride her bike and I cannot wait for bike trips next year.

(I am sure daddy is excited as well since he will have one less girl in the bike trailer to haul around:)

Saturday's soccer games

Just in case you were wondering where did I disappear these pictures should help you understand where you can find me for the next two months. Yes, the fall soccer season started and with two boys on two different teams our lives are busy.

We are on the field at least four times a week this year. The boys are having a great time and even the girls enjoy running around and cheering for the boys.

Sam's games are getting more and more interesting. He plays the big field this year and his team is very strong.

The girls and I were on the field from 10am till 1:20pm. Long day but we had a great time.
