We took several field trips this spring.
Last week two replica's of Columbus' ships were close by and we just had to go and see.
We got to go on board the Nina and Pinta and we were very surprised how small they were.
Yet they have made the journey across the ocean many times.
The kiddos had a blast exploring the ships.
They were ready to set sail

Emma on stage dancing to "Man of LaMancha"
Both girls
Emma had a fun this year learning a lot in her ballet lessons.

She is also doing much better playing soccer this spring.
And we finally took a trip to the beach.
The kids enjoy playing outside a lot even in the rain.

They are just enjoying life.
Let's see if we can get mom wet.
I have no idea how Jo stayed dry.
(Emma didn't)
It was great seeing them even for just the evening.
The kids were so happy to see their grandparents again.
We took a little walk in downtown Boston and the kids enjoyed Carousel ride.

For dinner we stopped at the oldest restaurant in the USA. As you can see the boys enjoyed their ribs.

They had no problem gobbling up all their food.
On the way back to Prague we took the train. Just because we could and it was fun run ride.
In the afternoon we went for a walk with grandma and grandpa and took some lanterns with us to light them and send them up in the air.
Nate helping grandpa.
Two engineers.
Will it fly or not, that is the question!
And it did fly. First it got stuck but after that it was up in the sky. Can you see the tiny little dot in the sky?
Almost home:)
Enjoyed the dogs.
