First Beach Day Of The Season

Not to rub it in or anything but we spent the day at the beach!!! And we were in swimsuits and it was hot!!! The kids worked hard all week so they could take a day off from school today and enjoy the nice weather at the beach with our friends.

 They had a blast playing in the sand, looking for treasures in the water, climing rocks, building sand castles, and having a good time with their friends.

 Most of you know that the ocean in New England is COLD. Even in the middle of summer so keep that in mind when you see the next pictures with Jo in the water. She lasted a few seconds and ran out but was back in a few minutes later. I was cold just watching her.

 At the end of the day the kids played a tug a war with their friends on the beach ...

 ... and they lost every single time, but that didn't stop them from having fun.

We are all loving this early warm weather.

Last Day of Winter

We barely had any winter this year. Temperatures were warmer then normal and no snow most of the season. Monday was a last day of winter and if you were not here you will not believe me but we were outside enjoying temperatures in the low 80s F, sunshine all around. I LOVE THIS WEATHER. The kids live outside on days like this.

 The bikes made it out and we even enjoyed strawberry smoothies.

 I didn't even dream about a last day of winter feeling so good for my bones.

 Let's hope it will last!!!

I will be ok if it does!!!

Skiing pictures

Here are some pictures from this skiing season. What a season it has been. We didn't get any snow most of the winter so the snow we skied on was man made but it was good. We all enjoyed our Fridays outside.

Look who Fil found on the side of the road on the way home last Thursday!

The kids had no idea and were shoked/excited about this unexpected visit.

For those who do not know there will be a big game on tonight.

I happen to have fans for both teams in my family.

It has been an interesting week and the boys cannot wait to watch the game!!!

 Oh and Fil too!

 Some of them will cry tonight.

(but I will be asleep)
