Nate is 10

Our "baby" Nate turned 10 this Wednesday and he is reaching for the sky.
He asked to go to a planetarium for his birthday this year. We already went in the spring but since he has become a space expert and he is almost ready to join the NASA team. So we took him again.
He was very excited and he even wore the astronaut costume that I made for him a few months earlier.

 Should I be worried?
Moon maybe but Mars?
The other kids (and daddy) enjoyed the museum as well. Here is Sam and Emma giving flying a try.
Nate landing a spacecraft. He crashed by the way :) But he has few more years to go before he can fly the real thing anyway. He does have a fan club already.
The girls almost taking off from the museum. They sure look cute even when flying.
Landing on Mars. It didn't go good well either.
Happy Birthday Nate. I cannot wait what God has in plan for you!!!

It's the Fall !!!!

Last time I checked it was still fall in New England. Well if you were under the same impression, this is how it looked outside this morning.
My two girls are loving all the snow and are constantly asking if Santa came last night. Long way to go girls!!!
As you can see the colors are beatiful this fall. Now they are covered with snow!!!
 Snow blankets on our tree.
 Neighbor's house across the road.
The kids had a blast on the swing set. The slides were super fast.
Officially we got 20 in of snow.
We were without power for 20 hours and we are one of the few who got power back at this point. I hope everybody else is staying warm.
So where in the world did fall go!!!

Apple picking

It is that time of the year again. Apples are everywhere in New England and we are enjoying it as much as we can. Last weekend we headed up to one of our favorite apple orchards and spend the afternoon eating, picking apples.
 Jo ready for picking duty.

 Rest of my pickers.
Let's see who has the beast eating apple face.
Emma cannot wait to get her teeth into another apple while Nate looks more like he is about to attack the piece of fruit.

My four super models. They are so good working with me when it comes to picture posing.
Well sometimes they are not. Why should they be looking into the camera when there are more interesting things around.
 Emma tasting another piece.
 The boys.

Apples everywhere. And Jo getting a boost from daddy to reach for the best of the best apples on the tree.

My cuties.
I love my girls. I do have fun with them (and some times we fight our battles) but for the most part my life is much more colorfull with them.
