Jo's New Hair DO

Last night after the girls bath I was looking at Jo's hair thinking: 'here we go again'. I was not sure what hair do I should do so while I was waiting on the boys to get done so I started twirling Jo's hair.

Fil was wondering what I was up to and after five minutes he told me it looks great and if I was planning on doing all of her hair.

First I was thinking I will do only the front but as you can see I ended up doing all of her hair and let me tell you that girl has lots of hair.

Just in case you are wondering it took me about half an hour.

Sam was all complementary when he saw Jo's new hair do and he said I did a great job and this is the best hair do I have ever done for her (thanks Sam).

Since Jordan has so much hair I am happy to report that as of this morning it is still looking good. I am sure it would look better if I used something but this was my first time so I did not want to over do it.

Little Lady

I have been thinking about earrings for Emma for sometime. I was not sure if she was too young for them and whether we should wait a little longer. However, after talking to many people, last week we did it. I looked into a few places and when I saw these earrings I knew they were a must.

I had my ears pierced when I was 16 and I got the exact same earrings. The jewelery store was very nice and both ladies (yes both since I requested they would do both ears at the same time) were very nice.

Emma did great. She did not peep and she has been looking into a mirror ever since. She does look very nice in them and it adds a little spark to her eyes.

Our little girl is growing into a little lady.

[Why does God] bother to speak to us? The truly staggering answer that the Bible gives to this question is that God's purpose in revelation is to make friends with us. It was to this end that he created us rational beings. bearing his image, able to think and hear and speak and love; he wanted there to be genuine personal affection and friendship, two-sided, between himself and us-a relation, not like that between a man and his dog, but like that of a father to his child, or a husband to his wife, Loving friendship between two persons had no ulterior motive; it is an end in itself. And this is God's end in revelations. He speaks to us, and we to him, he finding his joy in giving us gifts and we finding ours in giving him thanks.

Welcome Home DANIEL

The Laughner's made it home safely from Ethiopia and we were at the airport to greet them. The kids were so excited to meet Daniel.
It was an amazing feeling for me to be on the other side this time.

American Girl - Boston

We have an American Girl Store in Boston!!!

As you can see we made it there today. If you have been following our blog for a while you know this was not Emma's first trip. We visited the American Girl store in New York City twice already on our trips.

Even Jo loves dolls and we had a fun time with the girls.

Just in case you were wondering we did get some dolls but they will have to wait until Christmas. I cannot wait to see the girls faces on Christmas day.
