Coffee

I enjoy a good strong cup of coffee. I am from Europe so you can say that I am very picky when it comes to coffee. Each time we go back I bring a lot of coffee from Europe. When we run out I settle on Starbucks most of the time. The other brand that I enjoy is from Sweden that you can get at Ikea (I haven't blogged about that store for a while). This week I found another favorite. I guess I never really thought about looking for coffee at Trader Joe's. I love that store and I know I heard before that their coffee is very good. Anyway last week I forgot to get coffee at the store and since I was at Trader Joe's I looked for coffee there and it is very good. Also as you can see I went for the one from Ethiopia with the Fair Trade mark. I highly recommend it especially since it is cheaper than Starbucks.
This is a picture of coffee farm in Costa Rica. Fil's parents took this picture on their trip this spring (either that or it was Fil's brother). As you might not know Ethiopia was the original source of the coffee bean, and coffee beans are the country's largest export commodity so you can imagine that I am very excited to go there and try it. I am also planning on bringing home as much as coffee as we can carry.

On another note there is no news with the adoption. We are still waiting for a phone call. The David's sent their paperwork exactly a day ahead of us so you better believe we hope it is coming soon. We also learned from a weekly update from our agency that referrals will be coming in batches rather than individually probably once a month maybe twice. I believe for us that travel before Christmas would probably require that we get the referral this week and it still would be tight.
