Happy Thanksgiving 2010

Both of our families live overseas so we get to spend Thanksgiving with our dear friends.

I cannot believe this is our third Thanksgiving with the Laughner's. They are in process of adopting again and are waiting for final court approval.

Our kids play so well together. Well, these three are always up to something.

This is a big milestone for Jo. The first year we had Jordan she would not hug Lori. Now she runs up to her and it makes all of us smile and feeling very blessed to have both her and Daniel in our lives (and all of our kiddos).

Happy Thanksgiving to ALL!!!

Thanksgiving week in pictures

We started Thanksgiving last Saturday by celebrating with our good friends the Laughner's. I do not know what I was thinking about taking a picture of the kids at the end of the day. You can see they got their bellies full and spent most of the time playing outside (that explains Nate's green knees). We had a great time.

I did not take any pictures of the turkey this year but can tell you it was good. The only picture I took of any type of food is this one. We celebrated Thanksgiving Day with our friends from church this Thursday (total of 24 people) with lots of yummy food and great fellowship.

And we ended this crazy week by decorating the house for Christmas including a Christmas tree. I had tons of helpers.

The girls did a great job now if I only can keep their little hands off the tree.

I hope you all had a great Thanksgiving with family and friends.

Happy Thanksgiving

We got to spend Thanksgiving with our dear friend the Laughner's.
It was great to see them and again.

Daniel is such a sweetheart.
And he sure loves his mama.

Jordan had a great time playing with Daniel and Allison.
And she loved the pumpkin pie Lori made.
This is me by the way. I know I am not in most of the pictures since I am the one behind the camera all the time. (Fil was setting the white balance on the camera and was making sure it was fine.)
I am thankful for my family. For the amazing adventure which God took us on this year and for our friends especially the ones we made through our adoption.
HAPPY THANKSGIVING

Happy Thanksgiving

Happy Thanksgiving everybody. This year we got to spend it at home for the first time in quite some time. It has been awhile since I cooked a Thanksgiving meal. It turned out great and I cannot wait to do it again. There is a lot to be thankful for this year and I would have to sit here for a long time to write down my thoughts. However, one specifically stands out and that is the incredible journey of adoption God has taken us on this year. We have learned much about God and his love for his children as we moved through the steps of this adoption.

It sure looks good.

Fil's 5K run on Thanksgiving morning

Fil has been training for some time and he got to run in a 5K on Thanksgiving morning close to our home. There were over 700 people and Fil made it in a very good time.

Good job dad we are very proud of you!!
