Yes we did get more snow today. Not as much as we were expecting but about 8in(20cm) that is on top of what we got yesterday.
As you can see the swing set is under snow. No more swinging for a while.
The kids didn't even bother to dig it out.
Can you guess what are the kids hiding from?
It looks like they are getting ready for an attack . ..
... by the snow man!
And was it a battle or what.
more snow
and more snow, we have plenty to share
almost buried.

Will they make it?
Looks like they are OK. The girls cried most of the time but when it was over they were screaming on top of their lungs:

We had to dig our trash cans out.
What kind of blog entry would be if it didn't have one of the boys jumping.

It took both Fil and I close to two hours to clean our drive way and the front steps. I know some of you asked how it works around here with so much snow. Well let me tell you that at 3pm this afternoon I got into my car and ran some errands. No problem what so ever on the roads! People in New England know how to clean the snow!!!
I do not think we will be BBQ anytime soon!

The first two pictures are of our house last night. Most of you could say that we already have a lot of snow and I would have to agree with you.
But it started snowing again this morning and it snowed all day (it is still snowing tonight).
We only got about 7in (15cm) of snow so far. But that is only first faze of this massive snowstorm.
We have more coming tomorrow. Way more!!!!
I have no idea where are we going to put all this snow. As you can see the kids have mountains of snow to play on.
Sam and Nate made expeditions on K2 this afternoon.
Jo and Emma could barely move in the snow.
But they did not give up and climbed everywhere their brothers climbed. And then slid down as gracefully possible.
There is something about boys and jumping off rocks.
Some of them (Emma) even helped me to clean our drive so Fil could get home from work.
We get to ski every Friday. All of us but Jo who is enjoying her all day play date with her friend Riellie.
We rarely see our boys. I cannot keep up with them and last week I learned that my boys have a reputation that nobody can keep up with them. They ski together and once in a while I see them. They show up in the lodge for lunch and then they are off again. I have no clue where they find all that energy.

Emma waiting for her brother at the end of the day hoping they will get tired soon while playing with dad's skis and poles.

We have plenty of snow in New England and we have TONS more coming our way this week.
Last Monday it was -14F (-25.5C) in our lovely New England.
It did warm up during the day up to -5F (-20.5C).
You better believe we did not stick our noses out of the door.
I didn't even go out to get the mail.
There was no way you could get me out in that cold weather.
We stayed home with plenty of hot cocoa, sat on our sofa and read tons of books.
The kids specially enjoyed the hot cocoa.
With plenty of (snowman) marshmallows.
Four adults and NINE kiddos.
Tamenech warmed up to us quickly and was running around the airport with all the kids and with balloons in her hands.
A new coat for the good New England weather is a must and it was a big hit.
